CINCINNATI – MadTree Brewing and Chicago’s Revolution Brewing have entered into a challenge in the spirit of charity prior to the FC Cincinnati vs. Chicago Fire match for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday, June 28 at 8 p.m. in Nippert Stadium.

MadTree and Revolution, both distributed by Cincinnati-based Cavalier Distributing, have entered into a friendly wager to raise funds for two charities; the Cincinnati Rec Commission and the Chicago Fire Foundation. Prior to the MLS game tomorrow, the two breweries will meet at U Square at The Loop Piazza on Calhoun Street for a pre-match party. If FC Cincinnati wins, Revolution will donate 25% of all beer sales to the Cincinnati Recreation Commission. If Chicago Fire wins, MadTree will donate 25% of beer sales to the Chicago Fire Foundation. Both charities will receive donations; from whom depends on the game outcome. View their challenge videos at MadTree and Revolution.

Pre-game festivities begin at 5 p.m. and will be hosted by the Clifton Business Association. MadTree’s Lift Kolsch, PsycHOPathy IPA, and Shade Tart Fruit Ale, as well as Revolution’s Anti-Hero IPA, Fist City Pale Ale, and Rosa Hibiscus Ale will be featured.

About MadTree Brewing
Founded in 2013, MadTree is a product of the people and the first craft beer in Ohio to be canned. When it comes to brewing, they have carved their own path. They mix. They mash. They methodically bring quality beer to life, and have fun doing it. Demand from the growing community keeps MadTree motivated and moving. In return, they make nothing but the best beer and opened their new production brewery and taproom in February 2017. They are founded and continue to grow on the notion that beer builds community builds and community builds beer.
