Today, we are doing a Women in the Industry Spotlight on Amy Taylor, Cavalier’s Marketing Director for Florida, Indiana and Ohio. Amy has a bachelor’s in journalism/public relations and a master’s in business from Ohio University. Prior to coming to Cavalier in 2014, she spent 16 years in higher education and communications.
Amy also teaches BREW210, a course on marketing and selling beer; industry/consumer trends; and economic, legal, and social considerations that affect beverage marketing and sales, including branding, pricing, promotion, and distribution. This course is available at Cincinnati State as part of the Brewing Sciences Department.
First craft beer: Jackie O’s Razz Wheat, back when it was brewed by O’Hooley’s in Athens, Ohio.
Best part of working in the industry: The collaboration, creativity, and community goodwill.
Who inspires you: The most inspiring woman in my career is my mentor Gretchen Stephens.
Fun fact: Amy lives in Cincinnati with her husband, Carson, daughters Avery and Parker, and three doogers.
Cheers to Amy and thanks for all you do for Cavalier!
