LAKELAND, FL – Cavalier Distributing now distributes several craft spirits throughout the state of Florida including those from Lexington Brewing and Distilling Co., Southern Artisan Spirits, and Key West Distillery.
In the heart of Lexington, Kentucky, is Alltech Lexington Brewing and Distilling Company, a unique stop on the world-famous Kentucky Bourbon Trail® experience and one of a handful of joint brewing and distilling operations in the world. The site is home to Town Branch Distillery and brewery that produces the Kentucky Ale® family of beers. It is the oldest craft brewery in Lexington. Alltech founder and president Dr. Pearse Lyons acquired the 200-year-old Lexington Brewing Company in 1999 and resurrected the Lexington brewing and distilling tradition that dates back to 1794.
Cavalier distributes Town Branch Bourbon, which is aged in new, charred white oak barrels and infused with a golden amber honey color; Pearse Lyons Reserve which is distilled in dual copper pot stills from Scotland and offers notes of molasses and brown sugar with a touch of nutmeg and vanilla; Town Branch Rye, the original spirit in a Whiskey Sour or an Old Fashioned, rye whiskey is still chosen by the most discerning spirits connoisseurs for its spicy, robust flavor and Bluegrass Sundown a dark roasted coffee infused with Kentucky bourbon and sugar.
Southern Artisan Spirits (SAS) is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, in a city known as Kings Mountain. SAS is the third legal distillery in the state of North Carolina. SAS is dedicated to the revitalization of the lost art of craft distillation. With the utmost attention given to every small batch, perfection is created. Their ingredients are all organic and fresh which create the finest beverages. Cavalier distributes Cardinal Gin, a small batch gin made with fresh organic botanicals and Cardinal Barrel Rested Gin which is aged in brand-new bourbon barrels, retaining some of the juniper, mint, and peppery notes the Mauney twins are famous for.
America’s southernmost craft distillery is now available throughout the entire state of Florida with Cavalier Distributing. Established in 2014, Key West Distilling offers three rums including Rumbunctious Rum, Rumbunctious Gold, and Max, Spyglass Vodka, distilled from cane sugar, and a whiskey called Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. All of Key West Distilling’s small batch spirits are crafted on “Island Time”, with the sun, palms, and breezes, with care and no compromise.
