Cheers!

2015 Pic & Chapoutier Cotes du Rhone $13.99 Retail

This beautiful Cotes du Rhone is a lovely blend of Grenache and Syrah from Southern France. This wine starts out with upfront cherry fruit and black pepper spice on the nose. The mouthfeel is soft and silky with a spicy finish. With firm tannins and a semi-dry finish.

Recommended airings: Chicken or Duck liver pate and semi-soft mild cheeses like blue cheeses, colby, fontina styles, Harvati, and Monterey Jack.

2015 Alto Los Romeros Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva $12.99 Retail

This Cabernet from Colchagna Valley Chile starts off with a delicate balance of vegetable bell pepper and fresh raspberry on the nose. Its well-built tannic structure offers a mix of berry fruit and slight dustiness on the palate. With a long dry finish, this Cabernet proves to show its versatility and longevity.

Recommended Pairings: Gamey meats such as Lamb and Rabbit. Sautéed Brussels sprouts with bacon and charred greens.
