Ohio Breweries and Community Come Together to Raise Funds for Dayton

posted Friday, Jun 28, 2019  |  06:23PM

Last weekend, a special tapping event was held at The Trolley Stop in Dayton, Ohio to raise funds for the relief effort from the tornadoes that hit the area almost a month ago.   Here is what our Ohio State Sales Manager said about the event,

“The overwhelming turnout around the city for all things after the tornadoes has been humbling.  Even 3.5 weeks later when the Trolley Stop set out to hold an event. They worked with two charities Red Cross of Dayton and the Miami Valley Community Action Partnership.  $7500 total raised that day. I think it was bittersweet for the Trolley Stop to hold such an event. The owners lost their house in the tornado, cats missing (1 has been since found) and they lost their son all within a span of 5 days.  They have been a staple in the Dayton Community. Always showing love, compassion and strength. Chris and Robin mean a lot to a lot of people. I am super honored to be apart of a company that will step in and lend a helping hand when needed.  Dayton still has a long way to go.”

There’s nothing more to say but “Thank You.” Thank you to our brewery partners at Fat Head’s, Madtree, BrewDog, and Jackie O’s; thank you to all the patrons and community members who participated, donated and are still out serving those affected; and thank you Chris and Robin for sharing your space to help those in need. We are proud and honored to be able to assist.
